Does anybody know how to chop samples using the edit zone on the mpc 2000? The way i usually do it is just copy the sample however many times and chop each one. Is there a more effective way u can freak that in the zone mode on the mpc 2000?

Thats for the XL. To chop in the 2000 go under zone and select (via wheel) the section of the sample you want, then hit "edit", it will ask you to name it, Always name it because its easier to find and then hit enter. Go to "Program" F6 and assign your chop to a pad. Do this for every sound.
