Do you mean to terminate the scsi chain? If the zip is the last item on your cable (it prolly is) then look on hte back of it and make sure the terminate switch is activated. If there's someting after the zip, like an hdd or something, it needs to be the one that's terminated. Usually, i think all scsi zip drives have the switch so you don't need a termination block. You may on an extermnal cd tho...

no I think he means a terminal block so he can install a zip drive by hmself, if you live in the us, you can get on at any radio shack.....its a lil' white piece that you can lace the wires thru to help connect the power supply....but dont quote me on that last part....

why dont you just contact akai to get the zip kit?...they still have 'em for order....it'll save you the hassle of possibly messing something up in there.....otherwise be very very careful and good luck on the operation!
Ugghhh! Bboutit bout it bout it!

What does that kit run? I am familiar with PC's as that is my career for now, but I would rather have an official kit.

I don't think you really need a terminal block. All you really need to do is twist the wires together and wrap some electrical tape around it. That's what I did anyway, and I haven't had any problems so far.
