Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

A strange gap appears when my mpc (2000xl) is midi connected to my Vs-2400cd workstation. When I record or edit a sequence wile the midi is connected the mpc it wount repeat propperly.. so I Allways pull the cable out whenever doing so, are there any other ways to do this easier or an setting that need to be changed?

You possibly have either the MPC or the Roland set to sync to the other? On the MPC the slave/master settings are located under Shift+9 pages. Can't think any more specific at the moment.

Ì set the mpc to midiclock and the vs24 to midiclock and adjusting the tempomap on th vs24 to the bpm value that I have on the mpc..

is there stil something I need to change?

Are you trying to loop a sequence? While connected to a hard disk recorder? That would be problem #1.

Problem 2 is using midi clock. It works OK, but timing is horrible for recording. Try MTC.

I`ve set the midi settings to MTC both on the VS-2400cd & the mpc
it works fine now but there is still a problem... the sounds that are programmed from 01.01.00 won`t play back, it needs to return to the beginning point to playback the sounds from 01.01.00
