Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Is there any free software that I can use to convert audio files to WAV from my PC to use on my MPC2000, and if so what kind of floppy do I use. I tried using the sound recorder on he pc and a regular floppy but it kept coming up with an error.

the mpc2000 only reads .snd format so you would be working backwards....what you mean is is there a program that converts .snd's to wav's and vice versa for use on the mpc2000.....check out www.midicase.com......

"I tried using the sound recorder on he pc and a regular floppy but it kept coming up with an error."

Be sure to save as 16-bit PCM WAV (preferably 44kHz, but not necessary). The MPC2000 with OS 1.70 or 1.72 will import it.
