i have a odd problem.... you'll want to hear this !!!

i have a mpc 2000. i loaded the OS and i hooked it up to a EURACK UB802 MIXER AND I GOT THE MIXER HOOKED UP TO A LASONIC TRC 931 BOOMBOX. NOW HERE IS THE WEIRD PART ....when i load a sequence and hit play i hear no sound. plz help me

didnt happen to load the programs/samples too by any chance did you?

what did u make ur seq with?

i put in a akai floppy disk that says disk#3 hiphop set mpc 2000 sound library and i dont know how to play the sounds from off the disk plz help me

No need to double post (the pic is hilarious)

You need to load the progam (pad/sample assignment) AND samples (sounds) AND sequence (real time/step edit midi play data) in order to get sound when playing.

Someone will answer you just gotta give it time.

Download a manual and read up on loading APS, PGM and ALL files. You figure out what you need from there IF you read and push buttons at the same time (that's so you can read and follow along while doing it).

b4 u can 'play'/hear the sounds u must load them...Think of it in the same way as loading up ur homework off a floppy. You cant just put the disk in and click print...Print what?

Think it thru...Its logic. Take your time and think it thru....
