can anyone tell me how to use the mpc1k with acid and vice versa

u have to be more specific

i cant figure out how to record my beats to acid for manipulation,

i cant figure out how to record my beats to acid for manipulation,any ideas on how i should use them,or how i can use them

sync up your mpc to acid via midi clock using acid as the master.

record each individual track from your mpc seporately into acid.

then do your thing in acid...

Sorry to add to this thread rdizzz, i just thought it would save making a new one. Can u do the same on Reason even though Reason cant record or is there another way to put them in track by track. Thanx

not sure what you mean - can you record your mpc beats into reason even tho reason can't record audio? - you answered you own question.

i'm sure you can import your mpc midi data into reason if you wanted to do that. but i don't use reason so i couldn't tell you how.

mpc1k main out to pc line in.
acid can record the line in audio into a stereo track.

bam.

figure out in acid how to set a track to record that line in.
