OS update: real-time filters/pitch/effects ??

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the new MPC1000 OS will have real-time changing of filters, effects etc. while a pad is playing?

I'd really like to be able to do filter sweeps and pitch bends on long samples: these 'note-on' only filters/effects just aren't good enough...

nah man no one can really predict whats going to be on the future os updates. ish is hella underwraps. secret weapons projects. haha but on the real dude. people are talking about gettin an os update in order to use the harddrives. so hopefully they'll add something to the mix. you just have to be patient.

Ah, bugger it. I was hoping somebody would've heard something.

I've tried email [email protected], but no response -- that's three days ago now.

I'm surpirsed they didn't make the filters sweepable, since the 4-BAND EQ is.

Jings, I've just tested that out -- it works!

Can you imagine if you could do the same with filters and tuning? For each pad? (Like taking a drum loop, and slowing it right down, mid-loop)

It would be pretty tight!
