hello,
I just bought a mpc1000 two days ago, but my buddy sold me his MPC4K for a real good price, therefore I'm selling my MPC1K, sorry I threw away the box, but everything still in plastic...I'm willing to sell it for $700 the shipping is on me. Call me at 734-323-2152 (anytime)

peace

do you really thing the mpc1k is worth keeping once you have the 4K?, how do you alternate between them?

thanks for your attention

the 1k is like the strach pad and main beat machine for me, and its my portable options, but now when I get crazy ideas and want to add some keys, bass and synth. and sweeping effects I use the 4k. Like I try to do stuff on the 1k until I push it as far as it can go, then I will use the 4k. I really need both of them. At 1 point I didn't want my 1k anymore either and I let someone borrow it, but then when I just wanted to lay down some simple samples and grooves I missed having the 1k and came to appreceate that it doesnt have all the bells and options. But that works for me, if you don't feel the same sale it. it will make someone happy

this is kind of the same way i do things, except i use my DAW where you use your 4k. i converted my old pc into a computer with nothing but music programs on it and run reason overtop my mpc. this lets me use all reason's effects and sweet synthesis programs as if they were on the mpc - but when i just want to concentrate on the bass, drums and sample, i just use my 1k.

that's cool that you got a 4k, man - effin' powerful piece of equipment.
