sorry if this has been answered already....

does the cd burner on the 2500 only burn DATA or does it burn actual audio cd's?

That's a video of a guy from Akai showcasing the MPC2500 at the PLASA show in London. Firstly, that guy sucks. "Exciting!... powerful!... pads!" He didnt tell me anything about the product - didnt seem to know what he was doing.

Secondly £2000??? That's about $4000. **** THAT. Theres no way im paying that much. that guy was talking rubbish - its not the most powerful mpc to date. the 4000 is a lot more powerful, and i can get a brand new one for just under £1,400

yeah haha this dude smokes crack... 2000£ thats horrible... Akai really knows how to kill their market... Im not surprised though although I hoped Akai would had some change in business thinking after the numark dude took over. Apparently not... And the most powerful mpc yet? He must not have read the specs.. Its still the 4000.

I guess technically there are 4 Q-link knobs and sliders since each knob and slider is labeled 1-4, just bad wording

that 2000 pounds price is just plain old wrong no way it would cost that much.
