timestretch in adobe audition

anyone use adobe audition to timestretch, i've tried many times, but cant make the right sound, like make the sample longer and with a nice decay, any tips on it? thanks

I timestretch in CEP, which is the same as adobe audition. How are you trying to do it?

yea time stretch is tight! it works fine for me...

i tried to make a one shot sample longer, but i dont have the idea to type what number in the "length", and how can i get a spacious and smooth decay?

These are 2 different things. First, time stretch it. THEN try to add dcay to it.

goto the timestretch menu. there's more the one option. you can stretch it without changing the pitch. you can stretch it and change the pitch. or you can just change the pitch.

just stretch it without changing the pitch...im doin this from memory btw...

the length or the number next to the scroll bar should be 100? 100 means the pitch unchanged. lower then 100 is slower. higher then 100 is faster...

the slower you make the sample, the choppier it sounds. it can get pretty choppy depending on how much stretch you put on it. but it should be ok.

i would stretch it first...then goto amplitude and fade the end out for your decay...
