i saw a video that someone use a mpc3000, when he hit the pad( sample ), there is a delay, like repeating the sample and fading out, ive checked over the user manual, but i cant find it, is this feature on mpc1000 as well?

u set loop on (apply it to ur sample in trim)

then u set the decay to end (in prog), as opposed to start

somethin like that

to achieve this delay/echo effect make sure the the sample is set to POLY(so the sound overlaps) and trigger the sample you want to "delay" decresing the velocity as you go(hitting the pad softer and softer) or you can use the step edit to input the parameters at specific times and velocity

I think hes getting at the delay mix effect you have on the 3thou.
You can use it like a send-mixer and apply 3 taps with editable timing, feedback & volume to any pad (not seperately though, so I think).

Its like a simple tap delay..

MANY OF THE OLDER SAMPLERS DID THIS BETTER THAN THE NEWER ONES AND THE SOUND IS WARMER TOO.......................IT'S MORE OF A STRECHED OUT DECAY THAN A REAL DELAY.................
