Ok, so you have heard that kick, right? Do you have this on a cd or something? What I do when I really want a sound that I have heard, is just sample it! If you can, just find a part of the track, where the kick drums are sort of isolated. If you need to spice it up, run the sound through a bbe or some sort of clean up device.

gotta agree that is how EVERYONE does it, they want a sound, they nick it- you would be surpirsed just how many ripped samples are littered under the layers of your fave lps...

This is one of my biggest tactics. I rip it from audio CD, then snip parts I want, run the parts through sound forge and cut/chop what I want to use.
