lesson learned

i just lost ever song i ever did the other night my compact flash card got corrupted and shit wont load! play save nuffin. so now i have to start all over again, and this was right when i was about to back it up on my comp, shit was reeeeeaal gay. and my sound output stopped workin on it all of a sudden, id play a sample, load something else then go back to that same sample it wont play along with the new 1. im guessin it had something to do with the deterioration of that card. DO NOT BUY MAGICSTOR 2 GIG CARD!!!!!!

This ish happened to me a couple of weeks back...computer crashed during file transfer...I lost a gang of work...I didn't even bother re-creating, I just kept on movin....Back your work up!

Seriously, If you've got the samples, you'll remember how to rebuild your trax and they'll be better. It's just man-hours you could do without.

how do you backup all your saved work from the compact flash to the computer? Will it save all the programs as well?

via usb. same way you transfer samples. just drag and drop programs, sequences, projects, samples, on to your PC. Then transfer to CD ROM (if you want to be sensibily carefull or just dont have room to keep them on your PC).
