i wouldnt call myself a good guitarist but could name chords you played

if i was a good guitarist i could prolly tell you the key too

most universities offer a class called Aural Skills where you must identify pitches, key sigs, pitch classes, chords, note duration, cadences, all the notes for an 8 bar measure.

It is one of the more difficult classes

man I'd love to take that class. i'd probably fail but learn a lot.

take it at your local junior college / community college that way even if you fail it will only effect ure junior college / community college gpa .


Also most teachers at the jc's /cc's are really lax and if you tell them that you got a job or some other priorities they will let u drop after the drop date typically.

You won't get your money back tho. it cost under $120 for one class plus registration fees
