regardin sampler sources..

aight a while back here read on a thread on how to sample off the tv and dvd vcr n all that jazz...


my question to you all is there a way to sample off a pc ??


in 2 ways tho...

aight lets say i'm surfin the net and i go to web page and in the background they got a song playin... u know some bad a$$ ol skOOL ish... u know oldies.. lets say it strikes my fancy in one way or another and i want to sample it...

1. is there a way to record that on to my pc, i.e. thru some kind of pgram rember its jus straight playin off the web page tho..

2. how would YOU sample that into an mpc 1k ?

this is how i would do it take 1/8 plug to RCA plug and plug it into your speaker headphone jack on your comp/monitors then plug rca's into your mpc or other device and hit record, as to record stream off your comp direct creative has a program that lets you record streams direct i think it's called stream recorder i have it for my sound card but i never used it, i like doin it the first way i told you it sounds my analog if you got to an analog device,

but you can then record it back to your comp in one of your software programs to get it into your comp again.

p.s. come on ya can't tel me YOU never went to some crazy web page and they had some crazy ish playin on there, that you could be like yo i'ma flip that...

yeah but most likey it was flip'd already to sound like that ukno wat i mean,unles you go to some page with original sounds from artist.

I download mad mp3s and wavs and sample off em'. It's where I get all my sounds. I go from my snd card to a mixer than to my mpc. I don't bother with samples cd's. It takes more time but I get more orginal and customize my programs and sounds.

WELL YOU FIRST HAVE TO take it off the disk and then up load it to the net ,
you need a host site try imageshack.com or photobucket.com up load it there then take the link it give you.a nd com back to this site go to profile and where it say's avatar url paste it there and hit update then BAM YOU HAVE A AV

a real easy way of doing this is set your sound card to recrod 'stereo mix' and that records ANYTHING that the sound card is playing. so just do that with any recoridn program e.g. Sound Forge / Adobe Audition then you can save it as WAV or MP3

main... aight yo I did i finally got it down n pat n main was it RIDICOUSLY easy... thanks homie... that saved me like a whole week of searchin for answeers when it was that easy..

yo mpc why would it only work on certani sound cards? how can one find out or check?
