Zip drive problem.

I have an external Iomega Scsi zip drive wich i want to have connected with both my mpc and my computer. But when i connect it to both my mpc and my computer my mpc gives a SCSI READ ERROR message. I got the non-Xl mpc2000, Windows Xp and an I/O JET ioi-4203U SCSI adapter.

i too just purchased the iomega 250 zip drive, it came with a cable that doesnt hook up to my mpc, and i cant hook it up to my pc, i'm thinkin i need my old delta soundcard back to hook it up to my pc or sumthin, and i'll prolly need a different cable to hook it up to my mpc, where can i find a cable to hook it up so it will fit ?

you need 25-50pin high pitch cables.

I got all the cables but my mpc wont read the zip drive while my computer is alsio connected to it. Somebody help...

I do not recall anything in the manual that says you can share a drive between a computer and an MPC. Hmm, there must be a reason.

you may have to end the circuit , i can't remember how to do this but ,i have heard that when you have a chain like that you need to put an end to the circuit some how,

i could be wrong...
