MelleMel....didn't you have a mpc1k and trade it for a SP1200?

What happened to that SP? Hope you didn't trade it in to get that MV. MPC2k and SP is a good enuf combo....

or maybe I'm getting you mixed up with some other dude that traded a 1k for a SP...thought it was you though..

you sold the 1k to a guy in Japan or the SP.

If it was the SP, how do you not have the patience for an SP, it's very user friendly...how are you going to run that MV....that things like a G5 mac in sheeps clothing?

I sold the SP over to Japan... The MV's is aiiight,...

to be honest, I'd much rather have a 2500. Its really what I been looking for.. fast loading, but not cut down liek a 1000 or overly done like a 4000.

The MV is really too much for me at teh moment. But ima try to sit down and learn it.

Im not feelin how its saving system works. I like how on am MPC.. U can sample a shit load of samples, nto name it at the time and just keep it on flash memory until you are ready to do somehting with it.. The MV is totally differnt.. I lose track of where my sample I just sampled went, etc.

to answer you dude, it ain't about the gears, it's about how you do your ish. I bet you I mix YOUR stuff better than you do. And since when did a Berklee alumni gotta have nice gears to record? I know a lotta talented Berklee grads ended up playing at the bars in downtown Boston or better yet on the streets. Everybody gotta start out somewhere so i don't think it necessarily matters of what I, you or anybody in here got. It's how you use your ish.

Problem with your statment is Behrings dont work.. period. This over-used (excuse me) statement can apply to such things liek MPC's, Fruity Loops... but not a behringer mixer..

someone should sticky icky this bytch :!:

Young Kay,... sorry but that statement just supported my opinion.
Of course people that didnt do the the beat can mix/master it better, thats the entire point of having engineers do that for you.
The beatmakers ears are always prejudiced. Secondly I never said I'm a good engineer, so theres no need to jump at me and tell me you're better at it.
Shyt you don't even know me homie. chill.

nah it's cool wit me too, i'm just sayin that from a literally "just graduated aka flat broke" perspective. Even tho I got a degree from Berklee, but I'm in some big ass debt..so I just mess with whatever I can afford for now, until I got that job @ Universal, u know i'm sayin?
