MPC Card Reader not being detected. Previously worked.

i installed a card reader. after troubleshooting the installation from midicase.com, it worked and was recognized as an atapi drive. I leave to go on vacation and when I get back it is still looking for floppy and atapi is not even an option. has this happened to anyone? any suggestions?

Have you double checked your primary device? FRom the load screen, hit setup. Primary device should say Atapi.

Try that 1st and see how u get on.

To be honest, with the floppy uninstalled, floppy shouldnt even be an option but hey

at first i had the same problem - the device said floppy were the atapi drive should have apppeared, i tried changing the jumper settings from primary to cable select - it worked, don't have a clue how - but it worked
