timing problems...lol....more like human error...oh well all the best!!

Ever heard of timing signatures....haha I play keys so that would be a funny thing for me not to know....More like brooking 1k....Its funny that I had the settings set the same as the one in GC and I could record something fine on that one and not on mine....Sounds brooking to me....I am not the only producer that messed with it either....Anyways, thanks for the wishes!!!!

I was having a huge timing problem....I could make beats on the one in GC but not on my own....Zips are alot better then floppys if you ask me so I'll take it!!!!

the 1k doesn't have floppys

I know that but the 2000XL does....The one I got doesn't, it has a zip drive....Zip disk can hold more then floppys so I would rather have that!!!!

the reason u can probably make a beat a GC is because people that are good go in there in mess with the setting till there right  no mpc i better then the other unless ur not up to date with the new os's

1 tip for ya. Back up all your shit with zips. Granted, its not just zips........you should back up other forms of media... But I have found that my zips where the most touchy and unstable, and ive lost shit on em before; plus you dont know who installed that zip on your mpc2xl and maybe a wire might be wigglely and could be touchy.

I wouldnt be paranoid about it, but just some advice that might save you some work later. Im now trying to convert some of my old shit from my zips, and ive lost some shit.

I compared settings and even had mine set the same as the one at GC....It is possible to have a defective machine as it is with anything you buy....I unfortunately got one of those!!!!

Come on, you're kidding, don't you? I mean, if you use 64 midi instruments at the same time, you gotta be nuts!

The 3000 has 4 midi outs, doesn't it?

The 4000 has, the 60 has too. Not sure about the 3000.

Well I hooked up my 2000XL and everything is perfect....I knew I wasn't tripping over the timing on my 1k....I plug in the XL, turned TC off and had no problem what so ever....Everything I record played back the way I played it, in time....I should be having some fun with this now that I don't have a timing set back!!!!
