Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I 've red many topics here concerning the time stretch function in the 2kxl...can you guys tell me more about it:is it a good thing to use regarding the 2k which has no time stretch at all...let me know what you think about that and if you use this function very often...Thanx in advance.

It's a useful function, but it's SLOW....like go out to Jack In The Crack for a burger while it's processing slow.
But, if you have the XL, then you can put your .wavs into a computer and timestretch in a faster program and then pump it back into the MPC. Can't do that with the 2000.

thanx for the answer,actually i don't have a PC, i use a MAC.....but not for doing music cos' it's more the "family" computer and to really make music u need to have one just for that.....

J'ai un mac aussi, si jamais, je peux t'avoir des softs de manipulation de son assez cool. Tu as OSX ou OS9? Si tu as OS9, www.digidesign.com, download protools free. On se redit par email.
