Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i have a bunch of sounds that appear to be in that kind of format and when i try to play them on my computer it wont alllow me to or if i try to open them in wave lab it wont let me also is there way so i can get them to read as well as still have them able to play in my mpc

The computer is calling them `au format` but what is the actual file extension?

ok thats cool cause i was just lazy and instead of playing one of my mpc sounds into my sound card into my sound editor program i was just gona load them up from disk then after i get done tweaking them i was gona save them as a snd file or what not but ok i got what you are talking about. thanks

Just save them as WAV.

yeah... just chill with .wav only... like mpc2k said...

.wav and .snd are the same size... only thing is... is that .snd are supposed to load a little faster on the mp....
..

but its a hassle to convert back and forth on your pc...
