...but Akai need to stop avoiding the the real OS realated issues.

Honestly man who really cares about that lol. I think your better off doing time stretching on the computer then drop it into the mpc. People told me stretching on the 2000xl sucks big ass. I think your better of with a computer.

thats on a 2kxl. looks hella fast on the 2.5k. don't really think they'll add it to the 1k but if they did i would assume it would be as fast as the 2.5k

its not a black mpc, that pics been up for ever, its just black and white pic, there not coming out with black mpc1000s

It's shown in black in Akai's new brochure. A black and white pic would also make the green display and red record buttons grey...
The 4000 also has black sides and shit, the control panel is still blue, would be nice if they'd make that all black too.

Thought it was obvious with the Linn and everything.
The 'normal' black MPC1000 at the start of this thread is real though (as far as i can see).
