When I load in Wav files into my 2000xl, the end gets shorter. Is there a setting somewhere that cuts off sound that goes beyond a certian db perhaps? I've read other posts saying to add silence but I'm looking for another solution. My computer is filled with perfectly chopped samples and to have to add silence to everyone would not be a fun task.

Yes I read your thread and I'm looking for a way to avoid adding silence. If I canvert them to .snd files, will that fix it? I'll check when I get home if no one has the answer.

You need to leave a few miliseconds of space after the sample when you record it or transfer it via zip or floppy.

The MPC automatically cuts off a tiny bit of the sample to avoid colliding samples.

Wow. Everyone's reading comprehension on this board is shite. Here's a quote from the my first post.

"I've read other posts saying to add silence but I'm looking for another solution. My computer is filled with perfectly chopped samples and to have to add silence to everyone would not be a fun task. "

After clarifying that, I found the solution.
