All this talk of; 'oh, the 1k aint as feature laden as stated - blah'

Rip a nice long sample from a source *blows dust of aging vinyl* through the chunky, balanced 1//4" jacks on the MP, trim your start & end points of the section you want to play - then, copy the sample within the box, find more start end points / discard / extract / chop out more pieces, nuild a nice flowing landscape of reworked sounds. I like it.

Had to get that off my chest.

likewise...i've been walking to busy places (libraries, cafeterias, etc) with my mpc in a bag and just setting up in a place where i can see a bunch of girls walking around. being limited like that (just using an mpc and shitty headphones) has improved my music. plus, being able to look up and see a million different people milling around doing their thing is incredible.

"just setting up in a place where i can see a bunch of girls walking around."

Somewhere with a descript grid point no doubt....

between that and just having started taking antidepressants to combat social anxiety disorder (what kind of rapper has social anxiety disorder? oh, wait), things are really looking up.

now, it's 8 in the morning and i just woke up early to study for a science gen ed test, but i urge anyone who knows damn well that they are depressed to consider taking something minor for it. it makes a world of difference in all you do. honestly, we are nothing but balloons filled with chemicals, us humans - constantly putting new and weird chemicals into our bodies. take a stabilizer if you need to - your music will get better for it.

mine did.

oh yeah, and TURN TIME CORRECT OFF
