i find when i go to buy records im scared to take on a random record that ive never heard of the artist before. i find myself diggin the same artist. i guess i just dont wanna waste my money on bad shit. i know i know looka t t he label all that, but i still do it. i have a decent knowledge so i get a decent variety of records but still....any 1 else do this?

Its cool to do that. Eventually you'll burn out on those artists and move on. I mean, how many Ramsey Lewis records can you have? Dont worry, you just stalking up. Youll move on when the time is right. But do some research, like when you were first starting. it never hurts to be an amatuer again.

yo dude don't trip it happens to the best of us too, everyonce in a while i get something thats no good but it really depends on what your are lookin for records to listen to or records to sample. if your lookin to sample then you can get any type of records and take something from it. some kind of sound,
but if your gettin records to listen to then yeah that's hard to do , cause you would have to kno what it is your after.

as far a wasting money dont go to a record store without an idea of what it is your gettin cause you can pay good money for something you wont like , but if your digbin inthe bins then it's only a few bucks acouple quarters, a few dimes some nickles some penny's.

simcity tip is good sometimes i catch my self doin this and i've been diggin for 26 yrs, ilike to go back to basic's you find things that you over look sometimes and sometimes your music knowledge has grown that you see things you use to see you kno now how to use them records to your advantage.

good luck
