the 824s cost me $1185 total after tax. The foam things they are sitting on are like $35. I've never owned monitors before, but I've frequently listened to some Alesis Event 50/50's .
I went to Guitar Center to listen to the best krk's and the hr824's The hr824's are super clean and they have this anti-flutter mechanism for the bass and the tweeter is titanium, which both made it sound much cleaner then the krk's.
Are my monitors to close together? Should i put them at the edge of the table or leave them where they are

what is that supposed to mean? people should spend a grip on more gear? i wouldn't rule out that that guy might want more equipment, but people can use whatever they want.

Yo Rokuez, what happened to the Mirage?
That's a great set of monitors to hear the 60 in full glory, congrats.

i sold the ensoniq mirage for a bill. It was taking up too much room. probably going to sell that yamaha guitar amp stand and bag soon too.
hopefulyl my bench and keyboard stand arrive today. i moved my 60 outta the closet and its to the left of the kx88 now on its own little stand. Is a quiklok worth getting? I think it might woble on a quicklok from hitting the pads too hard not sure tho. i'll get some pics up soon

Yeah I was wondering if the quicklock would work too.
I've seen it hold mpc 4000's. Let me know if that works out. Anybody know if a the quicklock stand can hold the original mpc 60.

I have an old Quiklock single keyboard stand which has only a single brace support. It's a bit wobbly. I also have an OnStage Stands triple tier keyboard stand with the double brace support and it's much sturdier. OnStage stands are built much better than Quiklock. They may cost more but it's worth the investment to protect your investment. I only keep light gear on the Quiklock stand that I know I dont have to bang any keys or pads on.

Yeah I know... and the MPC60 weighs alot too. Thats why I'm letting you know that OnStage stands are built better reguardless of whether you buy a keyboard stand or the type of stand that fits an MPC.

I didn't really see anything that could can hold a mpc in On Stages products. I checked musiciansfriend.
