external hard drive storing vinyl

which type of hard drives are best for hooking up thru scsi on mpc-2000xl out there in the market. how would u put the albums on hard drive ? how would u preview the samples or records off a hard drive i have 30 crates of records and heard that no id stores all vinyl on extenal hard drives please help with the in depth info!!!!!

You are better off sampling what you need from a song. If you try and sample a whole song you use up all of your MPC memory.
