Hi, I have a problem regarding the installation of the 8 out expation to the Mpc 2000Xl.
I tried to install it yesterday and it seemed like a not so very complicated operation. But when I restarted the mpc the loading went on for hours! (you know this little loading sequence which says "wait" and "detecting memory"...it goes on for a very, very long time and the mpc never starts)
Well, i unplugged the 8 out and figured I would go without it for a while. But now the pads doesn't work and the sounds will not assign to the specific pads in the program, you can not flip between the pads in the mixer window etc.
Any clues what the problem might be? Seems something inside the mpc has broken down or something.
