Replacement LCD's for XL

Anyone got a source on getting 2000XL LCD's? I aquired one that has quite a few lines in the screen + when you tilt the screen up it gets almost unreadable. I'd like to avoid going through Akai, but if someone has a direct link to them, I suppose i'll give that a shot too.

Whats the price on these running these days?

I went to a local Guitar Center, in Manchester CT, for mine. They sucbcontracted the repairs out to a company called High Tech or something like that. I paid $225. Check out Guitar Center online. I don't know if they got them in AR?

I had the same problem with the lines running through the LCD. Eventually it prevented me from being able to load my files into the MPC. Not because I couldn't see em', I could pretty much navigate my way around the MPC blind, but the guy who did the repairs told me that the faulty screen wasn't allowing me to load my files. I doubted it, but sure enough when he fixed the screen it fixed the problem loading too.

I guess I paid too much, but I'm satisfied. I literally blew thousands of dollars while my mpc was down, just lookin' for an outlet. I didn't feel like sending my mpc in mail. I don't know how technical it is to intall, probably could've figured it out.
