how can you tell if it does or not?

i'm using audacity and i had the steroe mix on it so i selected that and hit record and saved as a wave... it worked!! but today i go to open audacity and the stereo mix is no longer an option to choose on it? wuds up wit that?

so now i'm tryin this other computer and i'm selecting stereo mix and hitting record and stuff is playin but on this computer audacity is not recording anything?

any idea wuds up on this?
