Just plugged in my New MPC1000, no it's not the black one. Anyone that can spare some advice on drum rolls please do so...without sampling a drum roll.

I'd like to make my own. Ive done searchs in the archives and get nadda.

Thanks.

I have 17 posts and I frequent this site, which means i'm a "lurker" i've tried the archives but maybe i'm using the search wrong.

Thanks though.

No problem since we on it you gonna want to know how to spice the rolls up ,, you can use 16 levels with velocity or tuning to get better effects off your rolls

Slowing the tempo right down can be useful if you're trying to freestyle your drumrolls in real time.

you can also link velocity to filter and then open or close the filter by varying the pressure applyed to the pads while doing the roll.

does any here use this method often? i experimented with it a couple times and just went back to forgetting about it.

just wonder if people find it useful often and i should stop overlooking it.
