Is it possible to NOT have my sequences overlap when using "one shot" "mono" voice overlap samples?

It looks like you need to trim the sample then so it doe not overlap, because if you already have it set to mono, and one shot it shouldn't. try triming, or extract from the original sample, and make a newer a sample in place of the one your currently using. if anyone wants to chime in please by all means. i dont have my mpc in front of me to be 100%.

set your parameters to be mono, not poly, that will make them cut each other off. correct me if i'm misunderstanding you.

i think he meant his samples are mono, not stereo. mono/poly is different than mono/stereo
