External HDD

I have an external hdd formatted and hooked up to my korg triton (SCSI)......can I use the same hdd on my mpc (2000xl) ?...will I need to reformat ? ( dont want to loose my triton beats)........also can I have them both hooked up the the hdd at the same time ?

any info would be appreciated...

well It's scsi so I could...I would just need to reformat......was hopping not to do that....time to get another hdd ...
