MPC60 has no IDE in it ... ONLY SCSI !!!

Nope. It is neither IDE or SCSI. If you want to install a zip in the 60 you need the SCSI option.

do you waste the EXTERNAL SCSI port by installing an INTERNAL SCSI ZIP? or can you have your cake and eat it too? id be interested in this option if i could double em up, otherwize ill stick with the floppy drive and daisy chain the EXTERNAL SCSI devices....

Sure you can. All you do is get (2) 50 pin to 25 pin adapters. So basically you convert the 25 pin connector on the back to 50 pin and mount it internally.Connect all your devices using a 50 pin SCSI cable. You take the 2nd adapter and mount it in the back port. You may have to terminate the back port with a SCSI terminator if it is not in use but they are cheap.

Yup. But I still like having a floppy drive, maybe I'd do it for a card reader, but I like that I have the old standard media as a back up if zips or SCSI fails at all.
