under the pitch parameter in the program screen, how many cents equal a semitone or a tone? i.e., .10 would equal? .50? I noticed the manual doen't explain this.

thanks

well for once Akai's slightly dodgy documentation is blameless,
because a "cent" is a standard piece of musical terminology,
that everyone in the whoooooooooooole werld already knows apart from you ;-)

- there are 100 cents in a semitone.
(and like tones and semitones, it's a unit of pitch, not of frequency,
so it has a logarithmic relation to actual hertz....)

Mr Amen. Don't worry about feline...the answer's right, it's just the attitude that's wrong. Too bad everyone in the whole world doesn't can't spell "world"
