listen, im not the type to judge someone on the internet. i could care less about you and your life. understand this is an audio equipment forum and noone really cares what your path to getting an mpc was. i may be pessimistic but i think you might realize alot of people dont really care what your path to anything was when they ask a group of knowledgable people a good question about something completely irrelevant to what you contributed.

yes, when you go to buy your hd get it from a place like staples because they have such a big selection you can find ones with rebates. ive seen people end up with nice 80 gig drives for close to nothing. same with memory.
