I put the headliner there just to grab your attention.Media does it all the time...I usually have problems when being too technical in the header..
Anyway does anyone know the cure for the wierd shortening of duration one gets sometimes when opening old saved .mid files?
On some tracks the duration of notes is atomatically cut, there by wrecking the sounds.
Oh and by the way can someone tell me not to swich from 2000 to 1000?

In fact, you should get all mpc's ever made, a triton, karma, some emu racks, adat, some top of the line software, a couple of $2000 high end studio mics and then mabe something like a 64channel mixing board.

I know, just buy every piece of music equipment out there..

why dont you use the gear you got. . . if you saved up hard enough for your akai, then you will learn to appreaciate it for the machine it is. dont think what you could do with better gear, think what you can do with the gear u got. learn it inside out, push it to its limits. i woulsdnt be saying this, if people wern't still rocking the mpc60's, sp1200, etc. etc.

Very true. I don't have alot but I think I do pretty good with what I got.
A good imagination can push equipment past it's limits.

just curious but what is the deal with the 1000?
what does it do that the 2000xl won't.

Sorry about that man, I got sidetracked. I think 3k covered that issue in one of his previous posts, you should search around for it cause I can't remember exactly where it is.
