MFC 42 Analog Filter

i seen this one filter by AKAI attached to a BOSS sp505.

i know it dont get isolate a sample completely from a song, but does the
MFC 42 Analog Filter have the capabilities to partially isolate sounds that are panned to different areas of a song?

wierd question, but yes. (example) if the bass is panned (hard) to the left, you just take the left output of the source (sp505) put it in the filter on a mono channel and filter it how you like, the right channel will be unaffected.
