Connecting Up

Hello everyone iv just joined!

Before investing the money i want to know exactly how, and what i can hook up to the MPC-2000XL

The set-up im wanting:

Keyboard synth into MPC
Computer with Reason 2.5 into MPC

then iv have a CD turntable and a vinyle turntable going into a Gemini USB mixer, iv heard conflicting tales of turntable not bing able to go into the MPC, will i be able to connect the mixer (and therefore any sounds coming from either CD deck or turntable) into the MPC as well as the keyboard and comp mentioned above.

Hope im not seeming really thick!!

What audio interface do you have for your PC?

You need to be more specific about your setup. I assume from the way you phrased it that you want to sequence on the MPC not the PC? Oh and what storage drive do you have for your MPC?

The MPC is what im investing in, can you suggest the right storeage drive before I buy

My PC audio interface is Reason 2.5, into M-Audio pre USB

The setup im wanting is to sequence on the MPC -
Any sample from either CD deck or Vinyl (through Gemini USB mixer)
Anything iv created on Reason 2.5
and obviously my Nord Lead keyboard

how would i set up all this
would the computer go into the MPC USB or the USB on the mixer
would i keep my output to speakers on the M-audio or put then into the MPC
This is a nightmare!!!!!!!
