Difference between the MPC3000 le and the original MPC3000

Are there any specification difference between the 2 samplers? Or is just the black casing?

No spec difference.

SMPTE chip option included standard on the LE model in some sales territories.

VGA option included standard on the LE model in some territories too.

The MPC3000LE model may have been memory expanded in some sales territories.

The orginal MPC3000LE brochure quite clearly stated though that SMPTE, VGA and RAM were expansion options.
