thing is... .whats the best way to save it using audacity cuz it comes out mad low in volume?

also when i put it on my mpc...........it came out on some funky a$$ speeded up beyoned alvin and chipmunks? any idea why?

still learnin wit the mpc 1k but was able to change the semitone to a neg. 12 and that made it normal? is that called pitch shiftin?

any idea why this sample did that? all my other samples play fine



also does anyone know where this originally comes from?


man now if ONLY my skills was developed enuff where i can program a dope drum line to that.. as thats all it needs in my INEXPERIENCED opinion...

when you save from the mpc to tranfer to your pc try to change the format it should be default to mpc file, you want to change it to wav, file and then save and it will come out normal speed, and when tranfering from pc to mpc you save as pcm pmc (wav)file, that should stop the beyond chipmunk sound.

It needs to be saved at 44100 not 22050 or 11025 to de-chipmunk it.

Also when I had Audacity I realised it was normalizing to -3 dB when it should do it to 0 dB. There must be a setting somewhere...
