Secret Screens - how do you get there

Thanks for scanning that page. Yeah iv'e got rev 1.1. I remember it wasn't in OS 1.0.3 when i bought mine, it was added in 1.0.4 i guess.
Strange that the new version isn't on the Akai site. I checked Akai JP but they have the old one there too.

Glad I could help out! Since the new OS may contain new features other than HD support, I'm willing to bet that the black 1Ks may end up shipping with another revised manual. This could be why those units arent on the market yet, though I'm just speculating from what I've learned today. I'm sure that when Sparq reads this, he can shed some more light on this topic.

That I think I had found that FAQ page before.....that is how changed my boot screen but I never book marked it and I couldn't find it by searching.

I checked the PDF of the Akai site too. That is lame that they have the old version up there still!!
