im think of gettin a scsi cd rom drive i just wanted to know the difference between the scsi cd rom and the cd writer and what can do writer do with mpc will it copy your song sou could play on ur set so u can get a feel of ur music.
also this is my set up i just wanted to know a few things(also i would like some tips or info on what else i should think to get)
-mpc2000xl with floppy drive and a 250 zip drive external
-oxgen 8 midi hooked up to laptop(which as double mem)never used it yet
-reason 3(off ebay) with a tutorial dvd

no sound module yet just got all these stuff need to learn the basics on all

also how do u use the midi controller with reason do i have to go to setting or something??
i was thinking of jus using hardware

u cant use the writer portion of the SCSI CD Burner, but u can still use it with your MPC, with the SCSI Burner, just like u was would a regular CD reader....

also, i have all 3 of those in my studio, anyway...... u know u wont just be using hardware if u are using Reason 3.0..... and yeah, u go to settings, do some research on here, there are plenty of topics, related to using the MPC and/or Oxygen with Reason, etc....
