Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By soulscientist Sun Oct 09, 2005 12:00 pm
I'm quite new to my mpc2000xl and I would really appreciate some help with making multisampled bass programs. If anyone got one you would like to share to help me understand multisampled programs please do so, maby I can give you something in return?

So far all my basses are just chromatic assigned singleshot basstones, and I would like to take it to the next level. But I dont find the manual or the search function helping me much...

So, anyone got something to share?

get a module/synth with some bass sounds on it so you can play your own.

or just filter a sample and use that for some bass...tons of ways to make your basslines

We sell an ebook that will show you how - it has chapters on multisampling and even includes a sine bass program.

Alright so far it seems like I'll have to spend $40 to retriev the information I need.... Sorry mpc-tutor but my budget is tight this month... :?
All I need to know is how spread multiple samples into one bass program.
Lets say I have 5 samples per octave, how do I get the 5 samples to spread out and fill out the rest of the tones?

You talking about one of the multisampled bass cds available on mpc-samples.com?
