ok i use my triton le keyboard to sequence on my mpc 1000... but im havin some beginner trouble. ok for example, i picked a bell type sound from my triton and layed down a 4 bar sequence with just that sound on my mpc... now i want to add another sound to that sequence, say a guitar for example, so i look for it on my triton and go to add the sound in but when i play it back, the bell sound has switched to the guitar sound with the same melody! what is goin on? how can i keep the first sound and just add other ones without them changing the previous one??? please help guys! thank you

first off - its sounds like your sequncing on your mpc1000 not your triton, but thats good, thats what you want to be doing.

You need to sequence your sounds on different tracks. Lets presume your bell sound is sequenced on track 1 of your mpc, and that track is set to MIDI output 1a on the main screen. Then it is going to play whatever sound you have selected on your Triton MIDI ch 1a.

So, when you want to add your guitar over the bell sound, you need to have the guitar selected on MIDI ch 2 of your triton. Then in your mpc use track 2 (and select MIDI output 2a) to then sequence your guitar over the bell.

or go into sequencer mode in the triton and switch the sounds in there.
