Just Wondering

I believe I read it on here before, but I am not sure what to search under.
Can I set my Mo Phatt sound module and MPC up so that when I create a sequence and use midi from my sound module the channel of the module goes back to the instrument used? If I'm not mistaken I believe it would have something to do with the module, but if anyone can shed any light on the topic I would be most appreciative.

are you talking about when you change a sequence?

yeah and also when you just turn the sound module on. My Mo Phatt resets to the default intruments when you power on, but I think there is a way to set it so that the MPC tells it to go to a certain instrument when on a certain channel. I'm thinking it has something to do with the SYSEX MIDI information.

from my experience with the K station, just make sure the midi connections are proper, where it says "program" in the sequence screen right above "velo%", you put the program number of the corresponding sound on your module so that when your sequence changes, the sound will change too. My K powers up to the default also, but as soon as I press play on my MPC, it snaps right to the program number. I know this isn't very detailed, but its all I know on the subject.

do you have the MIDI IN and OUT of your K station running to the MPC or just the "IN"
