I've owned the Evolver for a year and I'm still amazed with it. The sounds can range from smooth pads to a growling, screaming monster of madness. It also has patches that can sound like an organ, so I would imagine that it could suit just about any genre of music you'd like to produce. However, it takes alot of knowledge and experimentation to create certain sounds. For hiphop and RnB, it all depends. If you're looking for something completely out of the norm and more of a cutting edge sound, then it'll do. But for traditional sounding hiphop and RnB, it may not be what you're looking for.

Penfold, thanks for sharing that Bootleg EP. Them joints are fire! I'm really just starting to get into the UK hiphop, but I like what I've heard so far.

Destruction, yo I gotta give mad respect for all the joints you've been producing as well. Alot of them joints bring me back up when I'm feelin' down.

Anyway, I need to catch up on alot of cats on these forums, since there's alot to listen to (which blows away all that sh!t they play on the radio).

Considering that it has 2 analog oscillators and the filters are also analog, it would be fair to say that it can create basslines and leads similar to the Moog synths, though it wont sound exactly like a Moog. I've been using all 4 oscillators (2 analog and 2 digital) to create some extremely bizzare sounds, but the 2 analog oscillators are definitely as warm as one would expect.

What's up with those blurry pictures? 12-bit video sampling? Or a night of partying and picture taking?
