OS update question

Do i have to go through the whole process of updating the OS(to 1.07) everytime i start up the mpc?

You only have to update it once, unless you initialize the unit back to the factory preset. Other than that, a new OS will be coming soon, but definitely update to 1.07 in the meantime.

r.5 you should look into buying Registry Mechanic. I'm sure you can find the trial version on http://www.download.com when you do a search there. Registry Medic is good also. Once you clean out your Windows registry and run some antispyware programs like Adaware SE Personal Edition (it's free on download.com), you'll notice an improvement in your computer's performance.
