mpc60 gain staging?

i recently picked up an mpc60 ii which i would like to calibrate it so it's not adding gain when sampling but the metering leaves a little to be desired. i'm not worried too much about the switch on the back but the numeric "record level" value.

i tried looking at the manual for 3.1 which is the OS I'm using but I couldn't find anything.

so, does andybody know how to zero out the sampling input on an mpc60, or at what point it is not adding any gain to the input signal?

Did u set the gain switch in the bacc? It has 3 settings: Low, Mid & High. I think the general consensus is Mid. High is 2 hot but others prefer Low. Try that 1st. -uno-

I would try the low setting and then monitor an input signal direct and through the 60 and just check when they match up.
