can mpc triga 10 difrent snd frm a sound module?

i got some problem here , say i lay all my drums , now i need to lay say about 10 different instuments eg. piano,flute bells and so on .
i hooked up my korg m1 but the mpc only triger one sound ,
eg i have 4 miditracks, and the korg plays the same piano sound for the 4
tracks, is there a way for the korg to play 4 different sound,at the same time . if not can a sound module do it ? ,if not , do i need 10 sound module just to get 10 different sound to play at the same time,
am baffed at this so any help would be nice,thanks

what dos midi chanels mean as the manual says i have 32 midi chanels

Each track needs its on midi channel . ie piano on Midi 1a, bass on midi 2A etc

thanks man i found out how to get different sounds to play from the korg , but the korg has a limit of 8 multitimbral tracks , can you tell me the name of one gear that i can buy, that can play more than 8 midi sequence at the same time , which also has more that 2 outputs so i can rute them to mixer as

depends on what you want to spend. Most good ones have at least 16 to 32 multitimbrailty. These would be like the triton, motiff, iin the high range, and the mo phatts and protues are cheaper(im pretty sure they have 16 parts though, someone correct me if im wrong) You can also go the cheaper route and get a nice rackmount sampler. These almost always have 16 parts, and you arent limited to presets, you can just sample your own sounds or go and buy sample cds so you can have whatever you want. Cheap rack samplers such as an yamaha a5000, akai s3000, s2000, s5000, etc..., or the emu series of the esi 2000 or esi 4000, or emax's. these are all over ebay and go for about $200 to $500, depending on how beefed up it is.

depends on budget, if on low you can get a Roland jv1080 or 2080 for a couple hundred and itt's 16 part, has some good bread n butter sounds bearing in mind it's 10+ yrs old
